Over 10 years of experience in materials science and engineering with an emphasis on high temperature superconductor compounds. Extensive experience in powder processing, production engineering, specification and purchase of laboratory/ analytical equipment and raw materials, and quality assurance. Knowledge of various analytical techniques including SEM, XRD, PSD, BET, optical microscopy, and electrical measurements related to superconductor processing. Further experience in sintering and related processing.

Lodestone Technologies, Ltd (1995- present)

Involved in various consulting arrangements. Spent the majority of 1996-1997 in a consulting role, acting as Director of Manufacturing for EURUS Technologies of Tallahasse, FL, with overall responsibility for production of the ceramic component of a superconducting current lead assembly.

Illinois Superconductor Corporation (1991-1995)

Senior Development Engineer/ Lab Manager/ Product Development Manager, Electrical and Electronic Systems. Overall responsibility for the operations of the superconductor materials laboratory, process and product development.

Major accomplishments:

Senior Development Engineer. Researched superconducting ceramics based on CuO, Y2O3 and BaCO3 systems.
